Terms & Conditions
Definitions
“Seller” refers to Bleu Renn.
“Client” refers to the person or entity purchasing goods or services from the Seller.
“Goods” refers to all furniture, fittings, and bespoke pieces supplied by the Seller.
“Contract” means the agreement between the Seller and Client for the sale of Goods and/or provision of services.
“Days” means calendar days, including weekends and public holidays, unless otherwise specified as business days, in which case
it refers to days other than Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays in New South Wales, Australia.
Quotations & Orders
2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Orders are accepted upon written confirmation and receipt of the required deposit.
2.3 Orders can be placed by emailing hello@bleurenn.com
2.4 Any changes to the order must be agreed to in writing and may incur additional costs or affect lead times.
2.5 Expedited orders (requiring shortened production or delivery timeframes) will incur an additional fee, to be negotiated and agreed upon between Bleu Renn and the Client prior to commencement.
2.6 Shipping costs are excluded from the quoted price unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs will incur additional pricing to be confirmed by Bleu Renn.
Pricing & Payment
3.1 Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
3.2 A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm the order and commence production.
3.3 The remaining 50% balance is due and must be paid no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
3.4 Failure to make final payment within this timeframe will result in delayed delivery until payment is received in full.
3.5 Ownership of all Goods remains the property of Bleu Renn until payment has been received in full and the Goods have been delivered to the Client.
3.6 Accepted payment methods include direct debit and credit/debit card payments via Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, which will incur an additional surcharge fee.
3.7 Payments by direct deposit are recognised only upon receipt of funds, not remittance advice.
3.8 Late payments may attract interest at a rate of 10% per annum, calculated daily.
3.9 If any third-party suppliers or manufacturers require payment terms that differ from Bleu Renn’s standard 50% deposit and 50% balance structure, Bleu Renn reserves the right to request payment from the Client in line with those requirements. This may include 100% upfront payment at the time of order to commence production.
3.10 All prices are subject to change without notice.
Cancellations & Refunds
4.1 The Client may cancel their order within five (5) business days of payment for a change of mind, provided production has not yet commenced.
4.2 Once production has commenced, all deposits and payments are non-refundable.
4.3 Cancellations made prior to production may incur design and administration fees to cover costs incurred.
4.4 Custom or made-to-order pieces cannot be cancelled or returned once production has begun.
4.5 Refunds, returns, or exchanges are not available. Many Bleu Renn products are handmade, and natural variations in colour, shape, texture, and grain are considered unique features, not defects.
4.6 Goods that are faulty or damaged upon delivery will be handled in accordance with Clause 5.10.
4.7 In the unlikely event the Seller cannot fulfil the order, a full refund will be provided.
Variations, Customisation & Care
6.1 Any requested design alterations after sign-off may incur additional costs and extend lead times.
6.2 Natural materials (such as timber, stone, leather, or fabric) may vary in colour, grain, or texture - these variations are not considered defects. Renders on websites or provided visuals are indicative only.
6.3 All orders include Care Instructions, which must be followed to maintain the validity of the 12-month warranty.
6.4 Certain items may be produced by contracted suppliers with their own warranty periods, available upon request.
6.5 Failure to follow the Care Instructions provided will void the warranty and any associated claims.
Risk & Title
9.1 Risk in the Goods passes to the Client upon delivery, even if ownership has not yet transferred.
9.2 The Client must ensure the Goods are adequately protected against loss, damage, or theft once delivered to the premises.
9.3 Until payment is made in full, Bleu Renn retains ownership and may recover or resell the Goods in the event of non-payment.
Intellectual Property
11.1 All designs, drawings, and concepts remain the property of Bleu Renn and may not be reproduced or used for other purposes without written consent.
11.2 Upon full payment, the Client receives a license to use the purchased design for personal use only.
Delivery, Storage & Installation
5.1 Delivery dates are estimates only and may vary due to factors beyond the Seller’s control.
5.2 The Seller shall not be liable for delays arising from transport, damage from suppliers to fabricators, supply chain issues, or third-party contractors.
5.3 The Client must ensure adequate site access and readiness for delivery or installation.
5.4 Delivery must be expected and received at an agreed-upon time between the Client and Bleu Renn. Failure to accept delivery within this timeframe may result in the Goods being returned to the warehouse at the Client’s expense and subject to re-delivery charges and storage fees.
5.5 If the Client postpones or is unable to accept delivery, a grace period of seven (7) days will apply from the original scheduled delivery date.
5.6 After the seven-day grace period, storage fees of $300 per week or the prevailing market rate for storage, whichever is greater, will apply until delivery is accepted.
5.7 If storage fees are not paid, or the Client fails to accept delivery within seven (7) days from the original scheduled date, Bleu Renn reserves the right to resell the Goods to market.
5.8 Delivery or installation will only occur after all outstanding amounts, including storage or balance payments, are paid in full.
5.9 All items are thoroughly inspected and carefully packed before shipping. The Client must inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival.
5.10 Any damage or shortage must be reported by email to hello@bleurenn.com at the time of delivery. Claims must include clear digital photographs of any damaged items and packaging. Claims lodged after this timeframe may not be accepted.
5.11 Installation or in-situ fitting is not included in the quoted price unless otherwise stated and will incur an additional fee, as advised by Bleu Renn.
Warranty & Liability
7.1 The Seller warrants that all Goods will be free from material defects for 12 months from delivery under normal domestic use.
7.2 This warranty excludes: a) Misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance b) Modifications by others c) General wear and tear, fading, or movement due to environmental conditions
7.3 Liability is limited to the repair or replacement (at the Seller’s discretion) of the affected item.
7.4 The Seller’s liability for any claim, whether in contract, negligence, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total price paid by the Client for the Goods.
7.5 The Seller accepts no responsibility for damage caused by third-party contractors or trades engaged by the Client or during any transit/ shipping.
Subcontractors, Third Parties & Delays
8.1 The Seller may engage subcontractors or specialist trades to assist in fulfilling orders.
8.2 The Seller shall ensure any engaged subcontractors meet required quality and safety standards.
8.3 The Seller is not responsible or liable for:
a) The workmanship, quality, or performance of contractors directly engaged by the Client;
b) Any time delays, increased prices, or cost escalations relating to materials, labour, subcontractors, or third parties required to complete the works;
c) Any external circumstances beyond the Seller’s reasonable control that may impact timelines, costs, or delivery schedules.
8.4 The Seller reserves the right to adjust pricing or delivery dates where unforeseen material or labour cost increases occur after quotation, provided reasonable notice is given to the Client.
Indemnity
The Client indemnifies and holds Bleu Renn harmless from and against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of:
a) The Client’s breach of these Terms & Conditions;
b) The Client’s misuse, alteration, or handling of the Goods; or
c) Any actions of third-party contractors or installers engaged by the Client.
Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including
but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or supplier delays.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bleu Renn excludes all implied warranties, representations, or conditions not expressly
stated in this agreement.
The Seller is not liable for:
a) Any indirect, consequential, or economic loss;
b) Loss of profit, opportunity, or reputation; or
c) Delays or costs caused by third parties or external factors.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this
agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
Acceptance of Terms
By making payment or confirming the order, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions
